This post is a little bittersweet. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this blog and feel so blessed that you all take a look! Since relaunching my new website www.margotlandenweddings.com (take a glance!), I’ve noticed that it is a way better tool for me to share the latest and greatest work. So, I am stepping back…not for long though! I feel there is many more adventures to be had and I have every intention of sharing them. I love you all.

Ah yes, Mother’s day. Dustin and I flew to New Orleans to surprise my mom. What a treat it was. I realize this post may be a tad late, but I simply had to share some of these pictures with you all. My family came over for a little brunch. It was simply wonderful.

My mother, is the strongest and most loving person I know. Thank you Mom for being my rock. You inspire me in more ways than you know.

Consider this my love note to Colorado. It is difficult to express how incredibly thankful I am for this place. I can only hope the photos show just how exciting it is! We (Dustin and I) took a quick day adventure to the Red Rock Amphitheater. Wowza! The red peaking through the snow was so incredibly beautiful. The air was so crisp. I just wanted to make snow angels and sip hot chocolate all day long.

What a year! I was sifting through my archives and “reflecting” on the past 12 months. Needless to say, I feel like one fortunate gal! I’ve crossed paths with some incredible people from all over. They are the root of inspiration for me and I am so grateful for that. I’m ready for the next adventure. Bring it on 2014! Next up, weddings in LA, New York and France. Stay tuned! There is plenty more to see and I am thankful for you all.

Happy Holidays!

I FINALLY made it back to LA this month. I can’t believe how quickly time flies! I got to shoot a wedding, which was beyond words (excited to share soon). I also got to hang out with some of my ‘ol friends which I’ve known for years. They are all creative and so inspiring. Some of the photos you see are from Venice Beach, Malibu, Larchmont, and Silverlake. I couldn’t stop! My goal was to hit-up almost every neighborhood. This trip was all about quality time. Enjoy some of my favorites. My friends are amazing.

It’s time! Good gracious I love Christmas. We headed to the glorious and colorful New Orleans for the holidays. I have to give major props to my bro Barrett and my darling Dustin James and Gretchen for their patience with my Nikon.

People of Houston, if you haven’t been to Catalina Coffee yet, do yourself a favor and order a cortado.

Much love and Happy Holidays to all!
