I seriously can’t think of anything else I would rather do than take pictures of music, food, people and my favorite city on earth. New Orleans! The French Quarter Festival this year was a huge success. I have to give major props to Marci Schramm from the FQF, videographer Austin Conroy and fellow photographer Zack Smith.

April has been a nonstop adventure. Actually, it is hard to believe we are halfway through May! Things are certainly not slowing down, which is a-mazing. I’m having a blast editing the French Quarter Festival images. This picture only gives you an idea of just how excited I am to show you more….stay tuned.

Brittany and Spence are some of the most sincerely gracious people I have ever met. What an honor it was to shoot on their special day. It is also such a blessing to see the love between their families. Brittany and Spence were high-school sweethearts! It doesn’t get any sweeter than that. Of course it is always a pleasure being back in Dallas too Enjoy some of my favorites.

Wow! The March and April days this year have become such a blur. A happy one! Tis the season to get hitched. I feel so fortunate to have been in the air bouncing from state to state as a witness to love. Now that I have settled down a little, I simply couldn’t help but share a few from Meaghan and Stans wedding.

What a pleasure it was to witness their love! Everyone was so kind and beautiful. We simply could not have asked for a better day. Thank you Fairtyale Manor and families!

Allison & Chris are pretty much awesome. They were brought to me by my dear good friend Loren and I’m so very thankful! They have such great energy, amazing hearts, impeccable style, and truly know how to enjoy life. I honestly think they hired professional dancers for their reception too. Well done. To top it off, The Spazmatics added to the celebration. Brilliant!!! Over all, it was a stunning and super cool wedding. Thanks y’all!

When you think of class and sweetness, Daisy and Baruch fit the perfect mold! They are as thoughtful & genuine as they come! Spending the day with them photographing their Jewish Orthodox wedding was not only a pleasure, it was an experience which I will never forget. I am so grateful for both of their families and for their adorable English neighbors who took me in. I felt so welcomed and inspired from the second I landed! Thanks to all. Mazel Tov!

Anyone who knows me well knows that I am a sucker for the European life. I only had one day to explore the beautiful town of London, but it was just sweet enough. I enjoyed Monet, Westminster, biscuits, Indian food, and dinner with my dear London gals. I was also welcomed with open arms by the darling people of Golders Green and had such a blast shooting the Jewish Orthodox wedding! Those teasers will be on the way soon folks! For now, enjoy the sites.

Plainly stated, I am in love with London. There is something about wrapping yourself with a scarf and pea coat and hitting the foggy streets with a cup of tea. Glorious. I have only been to London during the winter so this is my only impression of the city. That is why I am so THRILLED and honored to go next week for a wedding shoot!!!

For my countdown of the week…I’ve been watching Love Actually, listening to The Beatles, and baking biscuits nonstop (they are American biscuits but just as satisfying). To the photographers out there, we surely have a great job right? Our office view is ever-changing.

There is something so special about photographing for family. Lauren and I (although not blood related) have been the best of friends since birth. It is one of those fantastic friendships which you begin to appreciate more and more the older you get. Now being “adults” and taking the necessary steps in life towards being women, my appreciation for the person she is and our sisterhood we have shared is something I hold very close to my heart. Moms, are you crying yet?
